I made stuffed shells for the first time recently, following this simple recipe from Martha Stewart. The process was pretty easy from start to finish, I’d say the hardest part was pre-cooking the shells and then dealing with keeping and stuffing them without ripping each one and/or having them all stick to eachother in the bowl while they waited for their turn to be stuffed. I think next time I make these I’ll add a little olive oil to the boiling water to make each shell just a little bit less likely to stick to its mates . . .

This recipe makes enough for 8 people (8-10 is what it claims but I can’t imagine feeding that little to each person!) and I had slightly more stuffing than room in the pan, so a bit went to waste. We ate these reheated for a week afterwards, and I can tell you they reheat beatifully and even taste better the next day!
Hum, I just noticed this is, like, the 5th Martha pasta recipe I’ve made . . . maybe I need a new source for pasta dishes? Suggestions, anyone?
